Biography
Dr. Jamila Zghal is a Tunisian academic and English-language educator specializing in General and Applied Linguistics, English for Specific Purposes (ESP), discourse analysis, political discourse, and communication. She holds a Doctorate in General and Applied Linguistics from the University of Sfax, Tunisia and is associated with the High Institute of Technological Studies (ISET), Sfax, where she serves as a Senior ESP/English Teacher.
Her research interests are particularly focused on discourse and the relationship between language, power, politics, history, and communication. She has worked on political and historical discourse, including research examining how language shapes representations of historical and political events.
